When we stayed in a 5-star hotel in Prague,

there were TWO granite bathrooms, and one of them had a digital scale. It was fun to watch my weight go up and down, in small increments. SO, when we returned from two weeks of over-eating and over-drinking I saw that I needed to drop a few pounds, and ordered (on-line) a cool, digital scale, that weighs to the tenth of a pound. (actual Utopia scale pictured).
I decided that I'd try to lose at least a tenth of a pound each day, and that made me a lot more aware of what and how much I was eating. SO FAR I'm well ahead of my goal and think it is an excellent way to be 'inspired' to lose weight, as I can track my weight each day, AND within the day.
BTW, have already lost all my trip-gained weight, so that's a good start. Will see how long I can stay inspired.... It also helps that when I get hungry, have been eating lots of apples, that are SO GOOD this year.
