One of the main main characters in ‘Deep River’, the story of Finns, Swedes and Norwegians emigrating to the Pacific Northwest, fishing and logging in the Columbia River Valley in the early1900’s,
has a fairly typical spiritual question. She doesn’t really believe in the Bible/Jesus, at the same time hoping ther is a God, that cares for her.
Probably not totally unlike what many of us face/have faced.
Good quote, which has crossed my mind many times…Are true believers better off, even if their belief is misplaced?
