Homeland Security Official Resigns With Note Ripping ‘War On Immigrants,' 'Brazen Corruption’

The top official overseeing the Department of Homeland Security’s data and statistics publicly announced his resignation over the weekend with a letter that ripped the Trump administration’s war on immigrants, facts and the federal government.

Marc Rosenblum, who served as executive director of the Office of Homeland Security Statistics, wrote in a LinkedIn post on Sunday that it “will come as no surprise” that he’s “thrilled to end my relationship with the current administration.”

“Between the war on immigrants, the war on feds, and the war on facts (not to mention the crazy war in Iran and the brazen corruption), I just need a change,” he wrote.
