Now, however, as oil prices, which drive up the prices of nearly EVERYTHING, top $100, with no end in sight, it looks like not only do we NOT get the rate cut, but the Fed is gonna be forced to RAISE interest rates, which sucks discretionary income OUT of the economy.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
