I posted yesterday about ‘The Church’ scaring people into subjugation with the carrot and stick approach of heaven vs an eternal Lake of Fire, which is basic Catholic theology, used through the centuries, while demanding tithes of 10%.

 And among MANY of my problems with this…is the fact that the Repubs, first under Bush II, and now Boss Hogg, have tapped into this yuuuge voting bloc, who will turn a blind eye to all the pussy grabbing, selling of pardons, greedy corruption, illegal wars, etc, etc, etc….because the greedy, corrupt jackass ‘supports’ the church.

The hypocritical Pig in the White House is as far from the Christianity that Jesus taught as you can get…but most of the ‘Christian’ hypocrites don’t give a shit, cuz he gives lip service to them and supports much of their dogma, as he kills thousands through outright war and drastically cutting US aid to the world, in the form of food, medicine and humane services, as well as alienating nearly all of our former allies, and China is stepping into the breach.

This does NOT imply that I am against spirituality in any way…because I am NOT.

I am against organized religion that takes advantage of the uneducated and poorly educated unfortunates of the world and forces their beliefs on them, in the form of government supported religion, as happened throughout the world, from South and Central America and Europe up through Scandinavia, as people couldn’t get married, own property or conduct business unless they joined and participated in the government backed Church.

Resist, and some form of the Spanish Inquisition or witch burning brought the rebels under control.

Again, my rant isn’t against the spiritual life, which is important, rather the imposition, usually by the Catholic Church, on the weak, helpless and uneducated….which brings us back to Trump, who admits he ‘LOVES the poorly educated’ (you wonder WHY?), and his base. 

The more education, (in MOST cases results in higher income and less belief in Bible myths, like Noah’s arc, Jonah and the whale, the Garden of Eden, etc, etc, etc.) results in Blue State vs Red State map. The overlay of US states with high education/income is nearly an EXACT Blue State map…whose taxes support the Red State, low education/income Trump base.
