Trump Remains In Deep, Deep Trouble

As the Iran war restarts and expands, Trump and Republicans sink in new polls ahead of the midterm elections.

A string of new polls shows that President Donald Trump is not going to climb out of the hole that the Iran war and the subsequent closure of the key oil shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz put him in.


He stands at 39% approval in both a Fox News poll released on Wednesday and an Emerson College poll released on Thursday. A Pew poll released on Thursday put his approval at 34%, and dropping, as gas prices rise and the ‘war of choice’ without allies or Congressional approval, expands throughout the Mideast, with no end in sight.
