If you follow the news,

you may realize there is a big problem with the death penalty lately, as the necessary drugs, to kill the convicted criminals, are expensive and hard to find, so they're experimenting with different 'cocktail' combos with less than ideal efficacy. This is stupid. Once someone's convicted and found worthy of the death penalty, just kill them in an effective, timely fashion. There would be no problem finding volunteers for a fring squad, and that's pretty effective, OR, a simple method would be to just put 'em in an enclosed space and pump in the carbon monoxide. Quick, effective and humane. As with most projects, once the govt becomes involved, it gets slow, expensive and ineffective. It doesn't have to be that way...
