AOL headlines this morning, say,
News ViralNova
In other news, the Post has a great article this morning,
'It's Always Sunny in Denver',
and the author lists his Top Ten reasons he likes it here, incl;
Denver has more sunny days (over 300) than any mainland state. (Hawaii is #1)
The mountain view, (can relieve any funk)
Robust, diversified economy (unemployment under 3%)
Healthiest, most educated citizens (least obese in nation, highest % college grads)
Progressive thinking (Lack of rightwingnuts)
Honest, effective local govt
The Broncos are always interesting
Tourist economy (Others bring $, spend it here and leave, at least temporarily)
Easy escape (if you need a break, from heat or whatever, you can be alone in the mountains, in less than an hour)
Bottom line, a great place to live, and thankfully most 'touristas' are 'priced out' by rapidly escalating property values, and it's not slowing down, esp if the economy of the rest of the country tanks, OR if it doesn't. Google will finish a 2000 worker campus (highly paid) in east Boulder (about 8 miles from here) in less than a year, and bring the peripheral jobs with that. Could make the prior years' 12% yearly property 'appreciation' jump significantly. 'Tis a privilege, to live in Colorado.... Yup, you're right, I'm proud and braggin', after the rightwingnuts said legal pot would 'kill the economy'. As always, they 'don't have a clue'.
Terrifying new Zika virus is shrinking newborns' brains
in related news, the Repub party sees a way to replace members, lost when they 'became educated'.
