Another Sat morning, which means no 'real' news on the tube,
which helps me wake up, SO, I did my weekly temporary immersion into the world of FOX/PARP, where I learned several tidbits. First, we were taught that the US is in terrible shape economically (compared to what/who?), BUT, the Liberal media is making it look good, to get Obama re-elected. Speaking of Obama, we learned he hates business AND the military (Ben Stein's observations), and therefore he hates the US, cuz that's who and what we are. And the panel agreed, saying we are in MUCH WORSE SHAPE since he took office.
WTF? (Although I realize things are always pretty bleak in Sheepville, for obvious reasons).
It would be easy to just blow off this bullshit, but then I think of the millions, like my dear departed parents, who watched this crap (after my brother recommended it) and thought it was REAL news.
Yup, FOX, the Propaganda Arm of the Repub Party, is the best money EVER spent by a political party. Just mix some real news, in a glitzy format, trumpet your Patriotism, religion and Family Values, then throw in a bunch of total bullshit and opinion disguised as fact. VOILA, the sheep vote solid Repub, feel good about it and the 1% retains control. My hat's off the genius of Murdoch/Ailes, who understood the intelligence of the average person, then realized half of them are even stupider, and built a network to appeal to them, cuz their votes count just as much.
