about hundreds of families moving to Colorado to treat children with seizures, because cannabis has shown very promising results, in cases where nothing else works. BUT, Drs can't give them advice, because there are no studies on the subject. There was a lot of promising research in the early 80's, until Reagan and the rightwingnuts, with their 'Just Say No' campaign threatened Drs and scientists with incarceration if they continued their studies. Just another example of the Repub, "Love the Fetus, Hate the Children' policies. Sorta like the rightwingnuts under the Bushies who shut down stem cell research cuz it harmed (already discarded) stem cells. Now, parents have to deal with children having debilitating and dangerous seizures, on their own, cuz the rightwingnuts have forced their opinions on the 'majority' of Americans who favor research and legalization. Same old crap from the 'Silent Majority', (actually the 'Noisy Minority'), who favor jailing those who do scientific research on a medicinal plant, used world wide, for centuries. I get SO sick of the hypocrites(R) who have no problem with a war, based on lies, with hundreds of thousands of casualties, and govt sanctioned torture, BUT, wanna throw people in jail for doing medical research on a plant.
