Two years and over five million dollars later,

after the Aurora shooter admitted guilt, the lawyers, paid by the taxpayers, played their stupid games, and made the victim's families relive the tragedy, so they could pocket MILLIONS in legal fees, cuz that's what they do. The lawyers went for 'the death penalty', so they could get a trial and bill hundreds per hour, for thousands of hours. For what, other than a fat legal bill? Sickening, but typical of the legal profession, that sucks dollars from the system, as we have to play by (and PAY for) the rules THEY made and exploit, 'defending' the sick SOB who killed 12 innocent victims. Most people work and make an honest living, and then there are the lawyers....
The good news? There was no 'death penalty' ruling, so the vulture attorneys can't spend years, and MORE money, appealing the verdict, although they probably will anyway, cuz there are tax dollars available to the bottom feeders, who have no shame, as they bilk the system for their blood money.
