As I was watching Olympic beach volleyball

yesterday, the announcers commented on the fact that the crowd was rooting against the US, but that was typical in the Olympics. I wondered why, (although I thought I probably knew), so I looked it up.
After WWII, the US was held in high regard, until the Viet Nam war, when the world, like the young people in our own country, turned against govt policy. It grew more pronounced after Bush's war in Iraq, based on lies, that destabilized the Middle East.
Now, the main concern in Rio seems to be, 'How can half your country support Donald Trump?
You know what? I can totally understand the BOOS, as a few politicians(R) have given MY country a BAD name, in today's world.
And you wonder why I can't stand them(R)?
