I’ve gone to lots of concerts over the years, but yesterday one came to me.

We hosted Piper’s cello recital and her teacher, aunt, uncle, cousin, other grandparents met for punch and goodies, hosted by her Oma.
Piper did a great job, coaxing excellent sound from her cello, showing no nerves in front of an appreciative audience, as her friend Megan joined her on a couple duets.
We were gonna get together today, for Carol’s b-day party during Denver Restaurant Week, but it’s three degrees and snowing, SOOO, we’re gonna wait a few days, just enjoying the fireplace today.
I love the snow, but it’s a bit too cold and icy to be traveling today, if we don’t have to, and we don’t.
Bottom line, life is good, esp on a cold day with a cozy house.
