Some observations from today's news stories:
It was a tragedy that a 52 year old cop was gunned down, just 29 days from retirement. BUT, what other occupation, other than the military, gives you retirement at 52, paid for by taxpayers?
The 'thrice divorced' religious nut in Kentucky is going to court, cuz she thinks that her religion overrules the US courts and she can decide what laws to enforce, after she 'talks to God'. That's an easy one. Fire her ass, and/or send her to jail to think about it.
Seems that the world oil markets are reeling/falling cuz Iran oil is gonna make it to the markets, IN SPITE of the Pubs who are fighting it. Hmmm, the same Big Money, Big Oil Pubs who want (another) war in the mideast to pump up the price of oil?
The Denver prosecutor(R) who spent tens of millions of dollars and subjected the victims of the theater shooters victims families to several years worth of 'reliving the horror', is now running for Congress, partially cuz he has 'great name recognition', for getting a 'guilty' verdict, from someone who confessed.
Boehner and the clowns(R) in Ohio are bitchin' about the prez taking 'executive action', (returning the original name to Denali), and threatening a lawsuit. BUT, the Pubs in Alaska are 100% behind him. Good luck, clown car party.
The nut-job in Evergreen who shot and killed 2 bear cubs for going through the trash, he left out, is being charged w/misdemeanors and a felony, BUT, even if the law doesn't get him, seems the neighbors might, after interviews with those who liked the bears much more than they like him. What an idiot...
