As I watch Hurricane Michael hit the FL panhandle,

I’m reminded of the time when that would mean I’m headed to a new adventure, into an area with no electricity, gas, food or lodging, for who knows how long.
I kinda miss it, but that’s OK. Was very interesting and very intense for the first few weeks, then it got to be a drag, but the money was good.
Now, as the rain and wind hit the coast, I’m watching our first snowfall with big fluffy flakes, although nothing is sticking. Golf this Friday, in the sixties.
Life is good, just not as exciting....
