Will be interesting to watch

the future of Canada's rightwing PM, Stephen Harper, recently described as 'our version of GW Bush, minus the warmth and intellect', as he strugggles to mine and transport Canada's tar sands oil, which is the 'dirtiest' oil extracted anywhere in the world. If Keystone Xl isn't approved in the US, and it might not be, he's stuck, cuz Canadians have totally stopped a proposed pipeline to the West, and are about 90% successful in stopping the 4 time zone pipeline to the east, cuz they recognize the environmental damage it can and will do. Tar sands oil was feasible at $100/barrel (thanks GW), even though it sells for $20/barrel less than WTI, but below $50, it costs more to produce than it's worth. Canadian dollars, or Loonies, were on par with the dollar about a year ago, but are now worth about 80 cents and dropping, cuz Harper put all his eggs in one basket, and then dropped it. Like I say, should be interesting to watch, as Canada tries to ship the oil (that their own people have stopped), across the US. I wonder what president Hillary will say?

You think the Repub brand is tarnished now?
