Just read a good article

explaining how the US, much like being the ONLY civilized country without health insurance for it's citizens (thanks Repubs), is also the only developed country that uses the Fahrenheit scale, developed in the 1700's, rather than Celsius, where water freezes at 0 and boils at 100, and makes SO much more sense in the digital age. Bottom line, we began to change, (I remember), in the 70's but St Ronald decided 'we are special and exceptional', and the rest of the world could kiss our ass. Now, as in health care, we stand alone in the world, holding on to antiquated ideas, (the Pubs also fought tooth and nail against Medicare and Social Security) cuz we're 'special' we don't need no logical ideas....
