that govt by temper tantrum doesn't work? Apparently not.

House Republicans have passed a measure to undo Obama's order as part of a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security. If Senate Democrats don't agree to the bill (which they won't) and if Obama doesn't sign it (which he won't), the Republicans say they will simply let funding for the department lapse two weeks from Friday.
At least that's their position as of now. Sooner or later, we hope they remember that playing budgetary blackmail backfired on them during the disastrous 2013 government shutdown and previous political fights dating to the mid-1990s.

Keep it up, dummies, 2016 elections are coming, and everyone's not as stupid as the FOXSheep.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
