On CBS Sunday Morning show, they have a special on ‘Conversion Therapy’, where Christians send their gay children to cruel, inhumane centers where they are subjected to the ‘science’ of the Bible.
There have been over 700,000 (known) children have been subjected to various ‘conversion’ techniques, some REALLY terrible, by the rightwingnuts.
Whenever I think ‘they’ might be right, I look at their beliefs on homosexuality, which exists throughout the entire animal kingdom, (yup, we’re in the animal kingdom), and realize they’re clueless in SO many ways.
I’ve asked religious relatives if they remember when THEY had to ‘choose’, between gay or straight.
My favorite answer?
‘I’m just more manly than most, so I didn’t have a problem.’
The show this morning tells of many the suicides from the young people who graduated or escaped from the Bible-based religious torture centers.
Bottom line, they have their beliefs and political views(R) that hurt MANY people, but that’s OK for them, cuz God is on their side and they’re SURE.
Like all the various religious fanatics in the world....

Then they killed RFK and Martin Luther King, made pot possession a prison sentence in their war against ‘protesters’and I learned to hate ‘em(R).
FIfty years later, after another war based on LIES, Dotard(R) is in charge and not much has changed, except pot is legal, in non rightwingnut states.
The ‘backward’ states still, ‘lock ‘em up’.
