Oil prices risk spiking to $100 next year, Bank of America analysts say

• Oil prices should temporarily rise to as much as $90 a barrel in the second quarter of next year but could also spike to $100 depending on geopolitical developments, analysts said.
• Bank of America raised the average forecast for Brent crude to $70 per barrel this year 
• Wild cards that could affect the forecast are the impact of U.S. sanctions on Iran's oil supply, and the possibility of a war in the region.
