After the Supreme Court(R) made it legal

to buy votes, the most prolific 'vote buyers' have been the Koch bros, who own one of the largest oil companies in the country/world, with a vast array of wells, pipelines and refineries. They have fought the EPA (who fights for 'our' clean air and water), at every turn, while bankrolling lobbyists and Repub politicians who, in turn, fight for THEM, at the expense of 'we the people'. Nothing new here, but I have often wondered about the source of their fortune, which they spend PROLIFICALLY to elect more Republicans, who will protect and GROW their fortune.
A new book, 'Dark Money', by Jane Mayer, explains, in well-researched detail, where this money came from. In a nutshell, the father of the Koch bros worked with the Nazis in oil refinery construction. Yup, after supporting Hitler before and during the war, he was able to see the writing on the wall, and escape with a large portion of it, which the 'brothers' now use against the American people, 'legally', with the blessing of the Repubs. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
