This explains a LOT

It never ceases to amaze me that The Donald and The Greaseball are the leading Pub candidates, BUT, when you consider the 'Christian Voting Bloc' is the largest in the country, things become more clear.
Trump operates in a world of absolutes where there are winners and losers; there is the right way and the wrong way. In short, it’s a world painted in black and white. Evangelicals see the world in much the same way, in that accepting Jesus is the only way to Heaven and the Bible is the inerrant word of God. They are publicly ridiculed for their unbending, non-negotiable approach, just as Trump is widely mocked for his adamant positions. It’s called a common psychological bond.
Common Psychological Bond. The world is black and white, not gray. The Bible is the inerrant word of God, (even though it is EASILY proven wrong is SO many places). Hmmm, the pieces are falling into place and I can understand what's going on. Take a master 'showman', throw in the sheep from FOX, HUGE monolithic voting bloc, and voila!, we have The Donald and The Greaseball  leading The Pubs.
Pretty obvious when you look at it.... Sick, but obvious. Throw in the never-ending animosity between Christians and Muslims (We're #1), with Trump, Cruz and FOX beating the drums for ANOTHER MidEast, all-out war, (do they not remember the quagmire in Iraq and Afg?), and you have rabid fervor, among the 'riled up', easily led sheep, unmatched in modern times.
