Am in potato growing area of Norway, the Lake District, like Colorado with more level ground and loses more lakes. Beautiful country.
They obviously boil, fry and make potato chips, but the main product around here is Aqua Vit, which is vodka, put in used wine barrels from Spain, with various herbs/spices and sent on LONG ocean voyages to mix it up while it ages.
Never knew that, and have never tried it, but might.
And around here their Happy Hour is called AW, or after work, and lasts from 4-6, with 30% off.
Had heard beer and wine was very expensive, but not really, that I’ve seen.
