Leaving Norway today, I’m still amazed at what a beautiful, fantastic, yet expensive, country it is.

Haven’t been so pleasantly surprised by anywhere, with Croatia being a close second. And, the cool, damp weather has been really nice after the hot dry summer we’ve had, although thwe sunshine days have been good too. They also had a much warmer and dryer than normal year, but they liked it, cuz their summer is so short and cool here.
Norwegians, as a group, are friendly, intelligent, happy, slender and light haired and blue eyed, but not so much as the Swedes, where nearly everyone has that look. The kids are SO cute, sorta like our grandson.
The govt is offering all kinds of incentives, like a year paid leave for the mother and three months for the father, but the population is still shrinking. They embrace qualified immigrants, as Trump wonders why we can’t gt more Norwegians, instead of shithole country people.
Ain’t gonna happen Dotard, cuz these people LOVE their socialist country, with a surplus rather than a YUUUUGE mostly Pub created debt, as well as free health careand higher education and strict air and water quality rules. Have never seen so many Tesla’s anywhere, with also lots of BMWs and Mercedes.
A politician with Repub values would be laughed out of the country, as they should be in the US, where FOX catapults their propaganda.
Had thought the trip would be less political, but that’s what people on our tour group, Aussies, Canooks and US Trump haters, as well as the locals wanna talk about. And I’m always happy to educate/inform them.
Haven’t had TV on once, since the first day when we caught the news about Dotard’s latest crap, and haven’t missed it at all, though have kept up with the Denver Post, (Rockies and CU) online.
What a great trip, but all things must end, and am ready to see Bailey and Tre, and Piper, and the kids, and my golf buddies, and the garden, and apple trees, and my bed....
