As it snows (big flakes) this afternoon,


we're watching the PGA tourney at Pebble Beach, which is one of the prettiest courses anywhere. A few years ago we were waiting in a line in a liquor store (surprise!) in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and met a golfer who was playing in the PGA tourney at Mayacoba that week, and buying a 6 pack. We talked for a while, and Carol just asked me this week, if I'd heard anything about Charlie Beljan. I'd totally fogotten his name (and don't know how Carol remembered?) and I said I didn't think he was around anymore. Well, Charlie's in second place right now and looking good, with 2 holes to go. Kinda crazy....

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
