Felt pretty rotten today

after I got a msg from a hi school buddy, who just retired (from a career in pharmacy), and he wanted to get together. Tried to reply, and had to go through a bunch of stuff (sign in, passwords, etc.), cuz he'd used the web-site from our high school class. Once I got there, I found some other messages that had been there for a long time, incl some from Tom Heller, a classmate, teammate and one of the best athletes to ever came out of Nebr, starting as a soph on what many call the best football team ever, the '71 Huskers. Tom died of ALS last year and I had been kind of upset with him for not getting back with me about golf and meeting up at his cabin on Johnson Lake, outside of Lexington. Seems he had answered me through the class website and I never saw 'em. Wow, talk about feeling bad.... I thought he just blew me off and I didn't like it. Too late now, but it kinda hurts.....

I don't do it cuz I'd just get in trouble. Carol shows me some stuff that friends/relatives post and it just pisses me off. If I were on Facebook I'd tell 'em what I thought of them, starting a big fight, SO, I just avoid it and blow off steam here, and I don't have to bother other people.
