Good news/bad news at Rockies game yesterday
We don't go to many Colorado Rockies baseball games, so when we do we like to get good seats and yesterday we had some great ones, just to the third base side of home and a few rows up.
The bad news? The Rocks sucked, AGAIN.
Same old scenario. Take first pitch, a fastball right down the middle, for a strike, then swing and miss second pitch, which (Surprise!) is a curve/slider that breaks out of the zone. AND, it's OK for the Rocks to get base runners, but hitting them in is a No No.
Still, was good to get out, look at the diverse crowd and enjoy stadium food/beer. Just sad to see the Rockies blowing a very promising first half of the season.
PS. Up close and personal most of the Rockies are bigger and buffer than they seem on TV and Coors (out)Field is YUUUUGE.
